The correspondence E-booklet courses are not timed.

Completing your continuing education using the E-booklet course is the only way to avoid a timed course requirement in Ohio. This method allows you to finish at your own pace, similar to traditional mail-in correspondence courses. You can take the online exam whenever you feel prepared.

The E-booklet contains all exam questions, while your answers are entered separately on an online answer sheet. Ohio law requires this separation. You may submit answers multiple times until you pass, unlike timed courses that may fail you for incorrect responses, requiring a restart.
